Begin with your race schedule
The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon weekend is scheduled for 3 and 4 July 2027. The organiser says 2027 entries open in early December 2026. Use the official race information for the event you enter, including its start time, location and collection requirements. An airport arrival the day before your race can provide more room for check-in, preparation and an unhurried evening meal.
Keep arrival simple
Compare your flights with the hotel location and the tasks you need to complete before race morning. When requesting a GGCLT airport transfer, supply your flight number, the complete accommodation address, passenger count and luggage details. Supporters travelling with runners should include their bags in the total. If you need a stop along the way, raise it when planning the journey so availability can be checked.
Allow recovery time before departure
Race-day road access and the time it takes to finish, recover and return to your hotel can affect a same-day flight plan. Check the organiser's published course and traffic information before choosing a pickup point. Arrange departure around airline check-in requirements and a realistic post-race schedule. A private transfer cannot bypass course closures, so agree a lawful, accessible meeting place with your driver in advance.
