Put Coolangatta in your diary
Cooly Rocks On lists 9 to 13 June 2027 for its return to Coolangatta. The festival brings together motors, music and nostalgia on the southern Gold Coast. Use the official website for the developing program and the arrangements for individual activities. Before choosing flights, decide whether you want to be settled in before the opening day or extend your stay after the final performances.
Give the driver the full hotel details
When comparing accommodation, check the property's actual address and reception entrance rather than the view shown in a booking photograph. Provide those details, your flight number and luggage count when asking GGCLT about an airport transfer. If your group is arriving on separate flights, explain that early so a workable itinerary can be discussed. Include any large or unusual bags in the request.
Plan around the festival streets
A lively beachfront festival can change the easiest route to a hotel or meeting point. Check the organiser's transport and local access information when it is published, and confirm an accessible collection location before travel. Allow room to walk from the festival to your agreed pickup. For an airport departure, work backwards from your flight and airline check-in requirements, with additional time for the local event conditions.
